Fighting The Subterranean Menace: Termite Extermination In Orange County

Well, here we are again, dear readers. If there’s one thing I’ve come to expect, it’s that the unseen forces won’t grant a moment’s peace to the average man.

This time, the attack has come in a new form: termites. They’re gnawing away at the very foundations of my home, stealthily working behind the walls.

I began to notice the signs: dust along the baseboards and small pinholes in the wood. These weren’t just any signs; they were clear warnings that the subterranean menace was back. That cursed hollow sound followed when I knocked on spots they’d claimed, filling me with dread and the certainty that the invasion had already begun.

I’ve been down this road before, and it’s no coincidence. Just last year, my home was tented and sprayed with who knows what chemicals. All in the name of “pest control,” they filled my home with noxious fumes. Yet here we are, and the termites are back as if invited.

I don’t trust those chemicals one bit. Who can say what their true agenda is? Do you think they care about your health? Your home? Hardly.

They care about ensuring you’ll have to call them again, keeping you hooked on expensive, dangerous treatments that never quite solve the problem. They pump your living space full of toxins, and somehow, the pests keep returning, stronger than ever.

This time, though, I was determined to find a different way. No more of their mystery poisons, thank you very much. I dug around, sifted through horror stories of other frustrated homeowners, and found hope in a new approach.

I discovered a local company here in Orange County called Natural Science Exterminating, and they offer a solution that’s as effective as it is safe. Natural Science Exterminating provides free termite inspections, which means you can confirm the invasion without paying a dime. And if you’ve confirmed the worst, they offer a natural treatment plan—one that eliminates termites without exposing your home and family to chemical threats.

Natural Science’s approach is a breath of fresh air for those of us tired of toxic solutions. Their natural termite treatment uses nature’s own pest-killing substances that termites can’t resist while remaining harmless to people and pets. Instead of smothering your home with noxious fumes, they focus on getting to the source of the infestation and treating it with ingredients found in nature.

But that’s not all. Natural Science doesn’t stop at extermination; they apply a protective treatment to keep termites from creeping back in. This is preventive care that other companies rarely offer, so you’re not left vulnerable as soon as they leave.

This means you can sleep easier, knowing your walls aren’t under siege by tiny invaders. When you choose Natural Science, you’re choosing both safety and peace of mind, and in these times, that’s priceless.

If you’re like me and have had enough of the chemical warlords in pest control, call Natural Science Exterminating. They’ll inspect your home, free of charge, and work with you to fight this silent menace without compromising your health or your sanctuary.

Pest Control On The Worst Species

Dolphins and puppies can make even the most high-strung say “Hakuna Matata”…

…and then there are some animals that make you question the existential purpose of their species as a whole.

I’m aware of the ecological phenomena where a chain reaction can arise from a single biological event that happens to occur within the intricately interwoven biology of Planet Earth. The mainstream theorists deduce this to be evidence that every living organism serves a larger purpose. But take mosquitos, for instance. What do those ugly bloodsuckers offer our ecosystem other than insufferable itchiness? You really can’t convince me that our planet couldn’t do without them. Would there really be such a thing as The Butterfly Effect if we eliminated mosquitos and replaced them with, in fact, harmless butterflies? What good is worth the tradeoff that supposedly justifies the nuisance of the existence of mosquitos?

Furthermore, you would never in a million years think that one particular animal could create an ecological chain reaction, one so uncontrollably widespread, that would give rise to a worldwide pandemic. Now, we’ve all heard about the conspiracies around those infested bats, but since it is never my intention to offend or provoke anyone, I will not discuss that topic. So all I’m asking is this: couldn’t Mother Nature have picked something better to do with her time than to create those filthy animals?

Imagine my horror, disgust, and earth-shattering rage when I discovered that my attic had been infested with rats. I became aware of an odiously odorous stink that was so ghastly…that I was sure an alien had infiltrated my attic (entering, after all, through the highest point of the house from their spaceship), but then died from Earth air poisoning, which was too dissimilar from the substance they breathe on their origin planet. These rodents were so ugly that they may as well have been from another planet.

There are many terrible problems with rats and other rodents, going beyond the fact that they are ugly and smelly.

Rodent infestations are a serious health risk. They may comfortably nest themselves into your home, but these rodents are the complete opposite of domesticated. Expect full-on feral. Many rodents are territorially aggressive; they will attack with bites that can severely infect humans and pets with typhoid, hantavirus, rabies, and more.

The rats made an unforgettably odorous mark, leaving droppings in the insulation in the attic, contaminating the air that circulates throughout the home. The experts of Natural Science pest control near me exterminated the rodents and replaced the insulation with fire retardant and energy-efficient insulation. The treatment sure did cost me, but I am glad that I made the investment in my home as well as in my personal hygiene, sanity, and safety. Health has been my number one priority ever since the latest global crisis cemented itself in history.

The exterminators were professional and polished. I can confidently recommend them for rat removal in Orange County. When the worst species attacks your home, you need the best of the best to unleash a counterattack. If left untreated, rodents and other pests can cause significant structural damage to your property and compromise your personal well-being.

Terror

We’re taking a break from our normally scheduled programming to give you folks a RED ALERT. EMERGENCY.

What is the emergency this time, you may ask? Well, my smart mouthed friend, let me tell you: it’s spiders.

No, not government spiders that are radioactive or 20 feet tall or anything, just normal spiders – but those are more than terrifying enough. I’ve been terrified of spiders since I was a small boy and was forced to walk through an enormous web that covered a small alley that went through my neighborhood, connecting the street to the local park.

I still remember looking down at my clothes and seeing spiders nearly the size of my thumb, scurrying up and down my body as I tramped through the webs. I was smacking myself for hours afterwards, every small itch or patch of skin unexpectedly exposed to the breeze now covered with poisonous arachnids in my mind.

Well, they have recently come from my nightmares to haunt my waking life as well, as we are currently experiencing something of a spider infestation (a worse phrase I can’t even imagine) in the studio. I am typing this from a café across the street, after being barely restrained from burning down the building after making the discovery.

My partners gave Grand Oaks Termite Control a call after they had successfully sedated me. They’d heard of them over the past few years from various sources, and after having looked them up myself, I feel somewhat heartened that we’re in good hands.

Here’s a small sample of the testimonials I found:

I highly recommended Grand Oaks Termite Control.  I had an unusual situation where there were many areas of my wood paneling and roof that were affected by termites and wood rot. I have a decorative tree growing through the front part of my home which makes it very difficult to treat without damaging the tree. When Jason came for the preliminary inspection, he knew exactly how to effectively treat my home without harming my favorite tree. His estimate was very reasonable and his communication was top notch. He kept me appraised of all the curve balls and never stuck me with any unexpected cost. I was very impressed with the workmanship of his teammate Gary who took care of all the woodwork, a true craftsman.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Grand Oaks without any hesitation. (John B., Yelp Review)

We needed our house inspected and treated. Justin and Gary did an amazing job. They are professional, prompt, thorough, and experienced. We received our report and estimate in a timely manner. They came out and did their work diligently and expertly.  We were informed of each step, and they finished the job as they had expected. We are so pleased with our experience with them; they do great work and are good-quality people. Thank you Justin and Gary! (Linda W., Yelp Review)

Justin was super professional, informative, and patient during our fumigation process.  I had to delay the job a couple of times due to our remodel being pushed back and Justin was very understanding each time.  There were also some setbacks which we were supposed to take care of, but Justin took care of it for us and everything went smoothly!

Highly recommend Justin and his team and would definitely use them again in the future.  Price was very reasonable and the service is top notch.  All emails, calls, and texts were responded to quickly and effectively.  Thanks Justin!! (Gearge C., Yelp Review)

If you find yourself in a similar situation to us, and pray, PRAY that you never do because it is truly terrifying, give the guys over at Grand Oaks a call. Your spider problem will be history in no time, and we can all just move on and never think of it again.

Killing Termites With Integrity

Termites are wood-eating insects. These critters have the ability to turn your house into their own grand banquet feast. The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) reports that every year, termites cause over $5 billion in property damage. Who should you turn to if you think you think your house may be infested?

In 2014, Specialty Products Consultants, LLC reported that there were over 19,000 companies in the industry (A Strategic Analysis of the U.S. Structural Pest Control Industry – 2014). We reviewed Grand Oaks Termite Control, a business that offers inspection and treatments. They were established in 2013 and service the Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne, and Pasadena region.

Grand Oaks Termite Control conducts thorough and detailed termite inspection in San Dimas. NPMA reports that pests “contaminate food, as well as kitchen equipment and other surfaces. Pests also infest food items and stored products including grains and dry goods.”

Grand Oaks promises competitive termite inspection and treatment costs. They also offer excellent customer service, as demonstrated by their stellar ratings and reviews on Yelp. One reviewer mentioned that Grand Oaks beat out other providers on price. In addition, she states that the company was an excellent communicator throughout the entire process.

The company offers different types of treatments depending on the severity of the infestation. They offer localize and full perimeter treatments for subterranean infestations. According to NPMA, subterranean termites eat non-stop, and are therefore the most destructive species of termite in the country.

Grand Oaks offers a regular inspection program, which allows home owners to proactively take preventative measures against possible termite infestation and subsequent damage.

We always look to review companies who are known to provide accurate information and full transparency in order to act in best interest of their customers. We believe that professional integrity includes not taking advantage of worrisome situations just for the sake of profit. In the case of exterminator services, it is very difficult for the average home owner to understand the extent of the problem. Therefore, they are completely reliant on the information provided to them by the inspector. In these situations, there is no way to know if the company is giving a home owner exaggerated claims about the inspection in order to take advantage of their concern and willingness to save their house.

However, Grand Oaks boasts a strong reputation of honesty and track record of service. The owner started the company after seeing too many instances of poor industry practices. One reviewer mentions how worried she was about her entire home being infested. Luckily, Grand Oaks determined that to not be the case and was able provided a fair quote. Moreover, they were able to treat the affected area in an hour.

The Termite Terminator

Reporter, Terry Barnes, at the Sunnyville Times adjusted his spectacles and stared at the wall. “Just as I suspected,” he said, “termites!” He took a sip of his Mocha Latte with skim.

“So, I have termites?” the coffee shop owner, Paul, said with a look of terror on his face.

“I honestly have no idea, I’m not an inspector,” Terry replied. “I am, however, a reporter! You may have heard of me, Terry Barnes.” He extended his hand.

The coffee shop owner blinked at Terry dumbfound, “but you just said I have termites?”

“Well yes, of course! Everyone has termites! That’s why I’m here. I’m writing an article about it. It may in fact be the most hard-hitting story Sunnyville has ever seen! In fact, I’m meeting Tony Johnson here. You may have heard of his company Sunny Pest Control. They have been cleaning up the city, one business at a time! They are local heroes to most. I’m sure they can help you with your termite problem,” Terry replied. “You’ll want to check out their website, they are seriously the best pest control guys in the business.”

“Can you stop saying I have termites so loudly?” Paul said rolling his eyes, “You have no idea if I have termites, man.”

Hmph. Terry sighed. “Hi, Mr. Barnes?” a young lady approached Terry with her hand extended.

“No autographs please. I am waiting for a very important person to arrive.” Terry replied, taking another sip of his coffee and glancing at the door.

“Um, yes but Mr. Barnes,” she continued but Terry cut her off.

“Okay fine! One autograph but that’s all. What should I sign,” he looked around in search of a pen.

Paul chuckled lightly as he noticed the name on the side of her coffee cup. Terry noticed, “What’s so funny? You won’t be laughing when I advise Tony Johnson not to help you with your termite problem!”

Paul started laughing harder. “So, this Tony person is really that good then? They can solve all of my insect infestation problems?”

“Well, yes his company is the absolute best. Typically, I would be mad that he was so late but because this is such a VIP interview I’m not even going to complain. I mean it is completely rude to be this late. My time is money, seeing as I am Sunnyville’s most famous reporter. I’m sure Mr. Johnson has an excellent reason for being so late though,” Terry babbled on, finally locating a pen. “So, what should I sign darling? Your napkin? Your shirt? What?”

“Umm Mr. Barnes,” she started, but Terry cut her off again. “Really doll I’ve got a VIP about to walk through that door any minute now, I don’t have all day. Here…” he trailed off reaching for the sleeve of her shirt.

“Mr. Barnes!” she said shocked. Paul was laughing so hard he was crying now.

Terry shot Paul a dirty look. “What? I thought you wanted an autograph?”

She rolled her eyes at both Terry and Paul. “Mr. Barnes, I am Tony the owner of Sunny Pest Control. I’m here to be interviewed.”

Terry’s mouth dropped open. Paul continued to laugh, “He’s speechless, I bet that’s a first!”

“Haha,” Tony let out a little laugh, “Okay, okay, but seriously Paul, we should really talk about getting you set up with some termite control.”

Paul stopped laughing and his face dropped, “Wait, what?”

“Ya, you’ve got termites. You can find me here.”
